Chaperones:  Responsibilities arrive at the school when kids arrive ckeck-in with Chaperone Captain. Ride to and from competition on the bus, take attendance,check students attire, remind them to get what they need for competition, help with sack lunches or what ever needs to be done before departure. Stay with band through out the day, keep kids hydrated, on task, fill water bottles.

Uniform Helpers - arrive hour to two hours before band competes to help get band outfitted for competition. Plumes and mirrors are put on uniforms right before band competes. Collect plums / mirrors after to prepare for next leg of competition. Please stay close in case we are short Pit/Prop helpers and if so you can come with the front ensemble to help get them on the field.

Pit / Props / Podium / Ladders/ Large Equipment helpers: 
Arrive at competition approximately an hour to two hours before competition time. Try to help with the same instrument or prop at each competition so you get to know how it goes on and off. New this year - you must have a special colored wrist band to be on the field(this is for field access only.) Be sure to get one from the drum captains.

Hospitality (food helpers)  prepare (in advance), serve and clean up. Hospitality will not be able to help in other areas or escort band to the field due to location of hospitality at competition. The captain will reach out the week of the competition with details about arrival etc. 

Truck Drivers: Meet at school when students are called, drive trucks with equipment and instruments to events. Can and will need to help with larger equipment to move on and off the field. 

Planning to stay anyway? Please come find the trucks to find out where we need help we will plug you in. 

Because the itinerary changes each time, look for Mrs. Ahmeds itinerary email usually a week before the competition. You need to pay close attention to the times listed as the volunteer arrival time correlate with student arrival and departure. 

**Chaperones and Truck drivers arrive at the school when the students do.
All others arrive at the field when the buses arrive.
